Custom Removable Window Film lets you transform ordinary glass with full-color printed graphics while still taking advantage of the transparency of the window. Because the film itself is transparent, your design can incorporate areas that allow the glass to remain visible. Printed colors without a white ink backing can allow light and the background behind the glass to influence their appearance, creating a transparent or translucent effect. When you want stronger colors, white elements, or areas with greater opacity, white ink can be added selectively to the design.
Your graphic doesn't have to be a rectangle, either. We can contour cut around logos, lettering, shapes and other design elements, giving you even more freedom to create something that looks like it belongs on the glass rather than simply covering it.

The amount of transparency in your finished window graphic depends on how your artwork is printed. Choose a more transparent look that allows light and the background to influence your colors, or add white ink when you want areas of your design to stand out with greater opacity and vibrancy.
Transparent — No White Ink
Want your graphic to interact with the glass and light around it? Printing directly onto clear film without white ink creates a more transparent appearance.
Colors will allow some light and the background behind the window to show through, which can create beautiful effects with photographs, patterns, artwork and decorative designs.
Because there is no white behind the printed colors, the appearance of your graphic can change depending on the lighting and what's behind the glass. This option works best when transparency is part of the look you're trying to achieve.
Great for: decorative window designs, transparent logos and graphics, seasonal displays, artistic effects and designs where you intentionally want the glass to remain part of the finished look.
White Ink — More Color, More Control
Need certain parts of your design to stand out? White ink can be printed behind selected colors to reduce transparency and help those colors appear stronger and more vibrant.
White ink can also become part of the design itself, allowing us to print white logos, lettering and other elements on clear film—something a standard CMYK print cannot accomplish on its own.
And you don't have to choose between an entirely transparent or entirely opaque graphic. White ink can be used selectively, giving you the ability to combine clear areas, transparent color, more opaque color and white elements within the same design.
Great for: storefront logos, branding, lettering, promotional graphics, designs with white elements, and artwork where certain portions need greater visibility or impact.

A few things to know
Pricing is based on total project square footage
Custom Removable Window Film is priced by the total square footage of your project. To calculate an approximate size, multiply the overall width by the overall height of the area needed to produce your graphic.
For example, a 3' × 4' graphic is 12 square feet.
For contour-cut graphics, pricing is based on the overall width × height of the production area, not the exact area of the finished shape. This accounts for the material required to print and cut your design.
$100 minimum per order
We require a $100 minimum on window film orders. The minimum applies to the total window graphic order, so multiple smaller graphics may be combined into one project.
Printing, white ink, cutting & basic artwork preparation are included
Your price includes full-color printing, standard white ink when needed, straight trimming or standard contour cutting, and basic preparation of print-ready artwork.
Basic preparation can include sizing your artwork, setting up the print file, preparing contour-cut paths, and other standard production setup.
Designs requiring unusually heavy white ink coverage, specialized white ink layering, extensive artwork adjustments, or unusually intricate cutting may require an additional charge. We'll always discuss any additional charges with you before beginning the work.
Clear film gives you creative options
Because the material itself is transparent, your design doesn't have to cover the entire window. Clear areas can remain transparent while printed areas add color, artwork, lettering, logos or other design elements.
This makes it possible to create everything from simple contour-cut logos and lettering to larger decorative and promotional window displays.
White ink changes the way your graphic looks
Printing color directly onto clear film creates a more transparent or translucent appearance because light and the background behind the glass can influence the printed colors.
White ink can be added behind selected portions of your design to make colors appear stronger and more opaque. It can also be used to create white lettering, logos and other design elements.
White ink doesn't have to be used everywhere—we can combine clear areas, transparent color, more opaque color and white elements within the same design.
Artwork matters
High-quality artwork is especially important for larger window graphics. We will review your supplied artwork before production and let you know if we see any concerns with resolution or print quality.
If your artwork requires extensive adjustments, logo rebuilding, photo editing, custom design, or other significant preparation, additional artwork charges may apply. We will discuss those costs with you before doing the additional work.
Your graphic can be contour cut
Window graphics don't have to be squares or rectangles. We can contour cut around logos, lettering, shapes and other design elements to create a more customized finished appearance.
Standard contour cutting is included. Graphics containing extremely intricate cuts, numerous small individual pieces, or designs requiring significant additional finishing may require a custom quote.
Every window is a little different
Window film performs best on clean, smooth glass surfaces. The condition of the glass, existing coatings or treatments, surface contamination, and other factors can affect installation and adhesion.
If you're unsure whether your glass is suitable, send us photos and information about the window or glass surface. For larger or unusual applications, additional evaluation may be recommended before production.
These graphics are supplied without lamination
Our Custom Removable Window Film is printed and supplied without lamination. This product is intended primarily for removable promotional, branding and decorative window applications.

A Few Things to Know About Installation
Installation is not included in the price of your window graphics. For customers who would like professional installation, we can provide contact information for a local installer experienced with large-format graphics.
Prefer to install it yourself? We can provide written installation instructions along with links to helpful installation videos. Smaller graphics and simple designs are generally easier to install yourself, while larger graphics, multiple pieces and more complicated installations can be more challenging to properly position and apply.
For larger projects, we recommend considering professional installation.
Measure carefully
Accurate measurements are important. Measure both the width and height of the area where you'd like your graphic installed.
For contour-cut designs, remember that pricing is based on the overall production dimensions of the graphic. If you're working with several windows, glass doors, or a larger display, send us your measurements and photos and we'll help determine the appropriate production size.
Final pricing is confirmed before production
The website pricing chart is designed to give you a good idea of what your project will cost. Because every window graphic is custom, final pricing will be confirmed after we review your dimensions, artwork, cutting requirements and any special production needs.
